Do you hate your ears and your neighbors? Do you like raising your hipster cred by listening to cacophonic, noisy, repetitive, barely-listenable experimental "music?" Then check this album the heck out!

&etc. is an experiment in using a meticulous process to produce totally chaotic results. This compilation was built from a selection of self-created sounds, clips, songs and samples, which were then randomly sliced and looped using the program Forester by Leafcutter John. This process generated about 2 hours of audio total, which was then pared down to 11 tracks ranging between roughly 50 seconds and 8 minutes.

The end result is more intellectually interesting than actually listenable, although the tracks do have a certain hypnotic quality to them. You may call it pretentious, but then, you'd probably be right.
